Few days ago, I entered a taxi to embark on a 30 minutes journey. I was lucky to get a taxi that was going to.... (Not telling). A fat woman sat at the extreme in the passenger's seat, I didn't mind. I entered inside hoping that a slim person will join us. After few minutes, a fat woman shoved d car door next to me. I looked at her with a questioning gaze (couldn't she see that there's already a fat woman seated by my side?). The taxi man screamed with a bit of excitement: 'two more to go'! (The passenger seat in front is usually occupied by two persons).
I gently opened the door, not anticipating the suffocation I could pass through.
She sat with much force and I shrunk. I moved forward thinking it was going to be better but my situation didn't change. I heard myself say: 'madam abeg open door, this place too tight' - (please ma'am open the door, this place is too tight). Thankfully the door was opened and I felt better until the seats got occupied and the journey began.
As I was battling with being squeezed and I felt like they were breathing in all the oxygen and left little for me, the woman by the left lifted her arm and stretched it forward to hold the driver's seat, the little oxygen I was managing was mixed with an unknown emission from... (U know where).
5 minutes to my destination, I was psychologically feeling relieved until a traffic jam surfaced. Thankfully it cleared as it came.
Immediately I came out of the taxi, I ran to buy a bottle of water and gulped it down. Bought a handkerchief and cleaned my sweat. I asked a shop near by for a seat. Few minutes later, I felt better and I continued the second half of my journey...
