The Federal government of Nigeria has scrapped the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in a bid to cut down spending due to the economic situation of the country.
This decision was arrived at after yesterday’s Federal Executive Council Meeting.
Nevertheless all the youth corps members currently serving now will be allowed to round off their service year with full financial benefits.
