Jose Mourinho - accused of Sexual Discrimination and verbal abuse!

Jose Mourinho did not deny calling Eva Carneiro former Chelsea first team doctor a ‘son of a w’.

Dr Carneiro claims are as follows :
1.she was personally discriminated against by Mourinho in incidents relating to the 2-2 home draw against Swansea on the opening day of last season.

2. Removing her from her first team duties after the match.

Mourinho was quizzed in Court at the  use of swear words toward Carneiro during the Swansea match.

He was annoyed by her decision to go onto the field to treat Eden Hazard- a Chelsea player during the injury time when the team (Chelsea) were searching for a wining goal.

Due to this treatment, Chelsea were later reduced to nine men – this  Mourinho claimed severely affected their performance and made Chelsea not to get a win.

The panel read part of Mourinho’s written statement. In the statement he admitted to using the statement ‘filho da puta’, which means ‘son of a b or w,’ but argues he had used it generally used it throughout the match and it was not gender based.

The sentence reads: ‘Filho da puta is a phrase I often use, all of the players know it. There is no sexist connotation in the use of the phrase – it is just like saying “f* off”.’

But Dr Eva Carneiro claims that Mourinho used the phrase ‘filha da puta’ meaning ‘daughter of a b
or w**.’

Legal papers submitted to the tribunal on behalf of Chelsea FC and Mourinho showed Dr Carneiro had been given an offer of £1.2 million to settle her claims – which she turned down.

Chelsea’s legal team added: ‘they are conscious that, whatever the facts of the matter, it is likely to be widely and incorrectly assumed that they could have avoided this coming tribunal.’

The case is expected to be heard over ten days at the London South Employment Tribunal. And the present Manchester United boss was expected to be around today for the hearing.
